We’ve discussed on the blog previously the growing popularity of macrophotography and it’s ability to transform our common perception of day-to-day objects and wildlife into the abstract and fantastical.

Finnish photographer Joni Niemalä specialises in the technique of macrophotography and his series on seeds proves again how stunning the natural world is, particularly on closer inspection. It is a beauty we often take for granted and “Seeds” looks to change the way we perceive and value one of the core mechanisms for the world’s ecosystem.
