London is one of the most vibrant and colourful cities in the world, even when shot in black and white, which is exactly what photographer Alan Schaller did in his ongoing monochromatic street photography series.

Part of the Street Photography London Collective Schaller’s immersive images are void of any colour yet as a result, the depth of the subjects appear to be more visible, the suspicion and intrigue captivating those viewing them. The settings in which his subjects are shot also lend a hand to creating a sense of mystery and aura, many of them familiar spots around the city, nonethelessĀ appear foreign and intriguing due to the lack of colour used.
