On the Fotolia blog, Joe la Pompe, “Coincidences hunter in advertising”, chooses his favorite advertising campaigns and compares them to visuals in our image bank. The resemblance is sometimes striking!

 The globe has the shape of a ball, and the analogy between the Earth and a melting ice is more relevant than ever in these times of global warming. This visual similarity appears every summer in advertising, although in the long run the idea is not very fresh.
