Impressions from TEN Collection Season 1 & 2 opening
Fotolia extended an invitation and everyone came running – well, not quite everyone, to be honest. We wouldn’t have been able to host everybody in the fotoliaLAB; but our cozy exhibition space (just across the street from our Berlin office) was buzzing when we opened the TEN Collection exhibition on 13th March.
Photography fans, art lovers, design freaks, as well as public protagonists of the digital imagery scene got together in an upbeat mood to experience Photoshop Art at its best. Damien Vignaux (aka Elroy),our TEN artist, French designer, and photographer, graced the opening as a special guest.
Martin Ruge von Löw, Director of German Operations for Fotolia, and Murat Erimel, Director Marketing and Media Relations for Fotolia Germany, guided visitors through the exhibition – visibly pleased by the interest the digital artworks sparked in the analogue realm.
The TEN Collection exhibition gathers all 21 artworks from Season 1 & 2, presenting them in large-format prints of high-end quality for the very first time. This highlights the nuances and rich details – it’s an invitation to experience digital art, quite literally, all over again.
The opening celebration went on until late; but for those of you who couldn’t be there, we interviewed the hosts and saved some impressions.
The exhibition will be opened to the public until 30th May – we hope to see you there!
