Walgreens partners with HP owned Snapfish
HP/Snapfish have done it again. Walgreens now offers photo sharing and printing via the Snapfish website. Snapfish last made headlines when it dropped the price of digital prints down to 12 cents. Customers can order prints from the Walgreens website and pick them up at the store in about one hour.
Hewlett-Packard Co., Palo Alto, Calif., USA, and Walgreens Co., Deerfield, Ill., USA, announces that HP's Snapfish has been selected to host the new Walgreens online photo website at www.walgreens.com/photo.
The new site allows Walgreens customers to use Snapfish tools for online photo ordering, sharing and storage. Walgreens also is rolling out, on a market-by-market basis, the ability for customers to upload photos to the site and pick up prints at the Walgreens store of their choice in as little as one hour. The service will be available by September in all markets where Walgreens operates. Customers can also opt for mail delivery of prints made from their uploaded photos.
The online photo service from Snapfish will offer: digital camera prints and photo CDs available for in-store pickup at local Walgreens stores or by mail; free online photo sharing and storage; more than 80 photo products and novelties; and free photo editing tools and software.
