Horst Tappe Died

Horst Tappe famous portrait photographer died at the age of 67.

You might have heard by now but Horst Tappe died a few days ago. Tappe was well known for his portraits of Salvador Dali, Picasso, and Alfred Hitchcock. Tappe really tried to get close to his subjects and develop close relationships with them. One of his closest friends Vladimir Nabokov, allowed Tappe to photograph him over a 15 year period. Tappe was born in Germany in 1938 and studied photography in Hamburg. Horst Tappe was 67.
