Photoshop World marks the launch of Fotolia University
NEW YORK, NY, October 2, 2009 – From the company that was first to bring an extended licensing option to the microstock world, comes the launch of Fotolia University. This interactive, hands-on traveling institution kicked off with acclaimed photographer Jack Hollingsworth at Photoshop World in Las Vegas. Fotolia University, an education program for microstock contributing artists, is the only one of its kind and will appear at various locations throughout the United States of America. Budding and veteran stock photographers will have the opportunity to broaden and brush-up their portfolios with training sessions hosted by leading industry contributors.
“Fotolia University provides artists of the microstock community with an exclusive opportunity to take their digital photographic skills to the next level,” says Oleg Tscheltzoff, CEO of Fotolia, LLC. “The demands in the industry are ever-changing and evolving. Fotolia provides contributors with the tools to stay on top of their game and to increase their earning potential.”
Open to all Fotolia members, Fotolia University seminars range from talent coordination, editing images, basic photography and advanced photography techniques, to asset and project management. Course fees vary based on the event, and location details will be announced as they become available. For more information, visit www.fotolia.com
