Fotolia introduces Gems to thank its photographers
When we thought about Fotolia one year ago. We didn't imagine that some users would be selling a lot of images so quickly. Now, a few photographers have already reached the best Fotolia ranking and as a result we have to define new ranks.
When we thought about Fotolia one year ago. We didn't imagine that some users would be selling a lot of images so quickly. Now, a few photographers have already reached the best Fotolia ranking and as a result we have to define new ranks.
What is more prestigious than precious metals? We naturally thought of gems.
Emerald, Sapphire, Ruby and Diamond have been added to the Fotolia rankings.
Emerald will replace the existing best (green) ranking. The commissions will also increase upwards to 47% non-exclusive members and 64% for exclusive members (for Diamond).
- Emerald : 10,000-50,000 downloads
- Sapphire : 50,000-100,000
- Ruby : 100,000-500,000
- Diamond : more than 500,000
We look forward to meeting our first diamond Members!
