How do I buy stock photography on Fotolia?

Buying stock photography on the Fotolia website is quite easy however new users may still have questions. Let me try to explain.

• Step 1. The first thing to buy images from Fotolia is to create a free account. Simply click here or visit www.fotolia.com and click on the sign up now button. We will ask you for a user name, password, and contact information.

• Step 2. Before you can download a photo from Fotolia you need to buy credits. 1 credit = $1 (USD). Click here to learn more about our credit system.

• Step 3. Now that you have credits in your account, you can add an image to your shopping cart. (If you are not ready to download all the images right away, I recommend adding the images to the lightbox.)

• Step 4. Select the type of license that you need and click the continue button at the bottom of the screen. The next page will display different download options. I recommend selecting the direct download option. (click here to learn more about our different licenses)
