17 weeks and counting
At 17 weeks things are really starting to change. From clothes and appetite.
Ok. Baby update.
My wife and I had been planning a great vacation to Hawaii for last week We had planned this years in advance and now the time has passed. It is somewhat sad but I will get over it. For some reason I forgot to call the hotel and let them know that, we were not coming because of the little bundle of joy coming our way and they called us. Gratefully they understood and refunded our money. Because of the vacation, my wife had a lot of time off and decided to visit her family on the west coast. She left me home with a long list of chores.
When she returned less than a week later, I almost did not recognize her. Her belly has grown a little over two inches and she walks different. There is no doubt my wife is pregnant. Most of her clothes do not fit so we did a little shopping. In addition, my wife regained her appetite and then some. She loves oranges and bananas. She will say little things like “the baby wants a cookie” or “the baby needs an orange”, as though this child is sending her a text message,
She is seventeen weeks and counting. The baby should be about the size of a large onion. I hope that we will find out the sex soon.
