Kodak you sneaky little devil. You tried to introduce a brand new 6.1 megapixel camera in hopes that no one would notice. Well we did and shame on you for not thinking of us first.
Kodak introduced the Z760 digital camera silently this week. The Z760 sounds cool huh. I think of the BMW Z4 and the Nissan 350Z (I like cars) when I read Kodak Z760. Hopefully the camera lives up to my dreams. Anyways the Z760 is a 6 megapixel camera, professional quality Schneider glass 3X optical zoom lens. Kodak packed the camera with its latest high-speed color-processing chip. Each pixel is evaluated to provide perfect color and contrast no matter the light source or event.
Kodak offers the advanced user many manual and custom controls like exposure compensation, aperture, shutter speed control, ISO setting from 100-800, white balance, flash compensation. In addition, the camera shoots at 2 frames per second, not bad for a consumer camera (remember 3 years ago, maybe get 2 frames in 2 minutes). Some automatic modes look new to me like the museum mode and text mode. One can only guess Kodak has corrected the images to match museum lighting and shut the flash off. Text mode may just be a high contrast mode that lets the whites stay white instead of that gray color when shot in automatic.
Kodak is pushing computer less printing options and this camera is fully supported. Simply put buy the digital camera, the printing dock, and their you go, prints without a computer. You do have to add paper and ink but don’t worry Kodak has an overpriced solution for you. Kodak has done a fine job with consumer digital cameras this past year. Keep up the good work people and maybe your stock will be worth something again.
