Kodak goes Wi-Fi
Kodak pushes Wi-fi Cameras. Share photos with out a computer. Upload images to the internet without docking your camera.
Available this June Kodak will introduce the Kodak EasyshareOne Wi-Fi camera. Yep I said Wi-Fi. You probably have already heard of Wi-Fi before. If not it is the wireless internet thing people keep talking about. It allows this writer to easily sit back in the lazy boy chair and surf the web. You can also get wireless internet at many coffee shops and airports. Kodak has really raised the bar for consumer cameras. The EasyShare-one is 4 mega pixels with a huge 3 inch touch-screen LCD that flips out. The camera also captures full motion 30 fps video.
With this camera you can click the shutter and effortlessly send pictures to your friends and family with out even using a computer. Or upload the images to the Kodak EasyShare Gallery (formerly Ofoto). The wireless system even connects to the Kodak EasyShare Printer Dock Plus. So you can click pictures in one room and print from another room in your house.
Wi-Fi cameras will change every thing from vacations to home photography. The Kodak camera will be available this summer at a price tag of $599. The optional Wi-Fi card is sold separately.
