Cool new cameras from Fuji

Three new cameras from Fuji with eye popping features that professionals and beginners should look at. (Fuji S9000 shown here)

Recently, Fujifilm introduced three new best in breed digital cameras catering to the special wants and needs of every digital photographer from entry level to advanced user. The S9000, S5200, and E900 represent some of the best technology to come out of Fuji this summer. All three cameras share in what Fuji calls its “Real Photo Technology”, an advanced technology that speeds up camera operation, decreases noise, improves low light shooting, and allows for higher shutter speeds. In addition all three cameras allow photographers to shoot in a variety of formats including JPEG and RAW. Though each camera differs in form factor and feature design they are all Fuji which to us means advanced technology and natural looking photos.

S9000

If your shoulder is tired of carrying all that photography gear come and check out the Fuji S9000 designed for advanced and professional users. The Fuji S9000 has all the advanced features and manual controls of a DSLR without the weight and cost. It features a 5th generation 9 megabyte CCD chip a first for the advanced amateur digital camera category. But resolution is only great if it is free from noise. There is no need blowing up a photo to poster size if the image looks bad. That is why Fuji has created the Real Photo technology that helps to reduce noise even at high ISO like 1600. The camera also offers a 10.7X manual wide angle zoom (equivalent to 28-300mm). The Fuji S9000 does something that current DSLRs can not do and that is capture 30 frames per second video at VGA quality.

Priced at $699 and available this September the Fuji S9000 should be considered even if you are looking at DSLR cameras.

Other Cool Features:

S5200

If you are avid digital camera user and are looking to move up to something a little more advanced than the point and shoot cameras then checkout the Fuji S5200. This camera features a 5.2 megapixel CCD chip with a 10X zoom (35mm equivalent to a 38-380 zoom). The camera comes at just the right price of less than $400. It is a pretty powerful camera with anti shake, noise reduction, natural mode, and of course movie mode. The S5200 will be available for this October. It is a good introduction into the world of advanced features without sacrificing on simplicity and image quality.

E900

When we first saw this camera we were impressed with the design. Not only will your images look good with this camera but you’ll look fabulous taking them. The E900 is a great pocket sized camera that really packs a punch to the competition. The camera features a 9 megapixel CCD with a 4X standard lens. We say standard because you can actually get other lenses for this little guy to widen your options of shooting. In addition the camera also offers the Real Photo Technology that improves the image quality especially noise up to ISO 800. The camera also features a 2 inch LCD for large screen framing and display. This camera will also be available in October for less than $500.

We hope to have these cameras soon for a hands on review but at this point all looks good.
