AgfaPhoto has appointed Rick Maurer as the new Vice President of Sales. Maurer will be responsible for managing the company's North American sales force targeting the independent retailers, government, wholesale and professional labs.

Maurer has more than 30 years' experience in sales, service and marketing in the imaging industry, including eleven years with AgfaPhoto.

Now I have met this guy somewhere before like a trade show or something. Nice aggressive sales guy. It is good to see that Agfa is hiring from within. With so much going on at Agfa I believe Rick will be a great champion to lead the sales team here in the US. After Rick gets settled into his new position Fotolia hopes to get some one on one time with him.

Veteran Agfa Sales Manager to Head Up North American Independent Retail Sales

Maurer will be responsible for managing the company's North American sales force targeting the independent retailers, government, wholesale and professional labs. He replaces Dan Kinsley, who will be leaving the company.

Maurer has more than 30 years' experience in sales, service and marketing in the imaging industry, including eleven years with AgfaPhoto. His tenure with AgfaPhoto includes a variety of important sales and management positions of increasing responsibility. Before assuming his current duties, he held the position of Regional Sales Manager for the Western region of North America. A successful entrepreneur, Maurer has also helped grow several emerging businesses both within the United States and overseas.
