New Lightbox Shopping Cart and Gallery
Fotolia modified its purchase and download process to make it easier, quicker and more user-friendly. Thanks to the implementation of a shopping cart and of a gallery system, it is now possible to purchase many images at the same time and to share images with your clients.
Shopping Cart
The download process is divided into two steps.
In the first step, you select one or more images into your shopping cart and select the needed license.
In the second step, you decide from one of three download methods for your image(s).
- Direct Download ( best choice) : the image is transmitted as a file that you can directly save on your computer
- Rescue Download: the image is directly displayed into your browser and you must use the “Save as” action to have the image in your computer
- Send by email : the image is sent to the email address entered in your Fotolia profile
Gallery
We just implemented a new gallery system which allows you to organize images in directories within your lightbox and share the content of your gallery to your friends and clients [more about galleries]
