After a few hours of migration and update, we are proud to announce the new Fotolia version 1.0. The next few days will be devoted to correcting bugs and making small improvements. Please do not hesitate to contact us with any feedback.
The new version first of all has a new design that adapts to almost any screen size, a new logo, and a new tag line “Source of Inspiration”.
The new website introduces an Academy and forum where members can exchange ideas, vote on marketable images, provide feedback, and communicate on popular trends in the industry.
Fotolia’s search engine is new and improved with the ability to search for illustrations, isolated photos, vertical and horizontal images, and even search by color.
The new website introduces a collaborative system of image moderation. Through our new Academy section, members act as a jury to vote on the marketability of the photos submitted to Fotolia.
Fotolia introduces a revolutionary Free Photo Section with innovations like adthumb.
Finally, with the new website Fotolia has reduced the credit card validation period from 30 days to only 3 days for the payment of photographers.
The new version contains other smaller less noticeable details and we have most likely introduced a few bugs. We hope you will enjoy the new website. We welcome all of your comments and feed back.
