New License : Extended RF License
Fotolia introduces a new and more profitable royalty free license to the stock image market called Extended Royalty Free
This new and innovative license adds to and compliments the existing 3 licenses already offered by Fotolia
- Standard RF for WEB
- Standard RF for PRINT
- Exclusive Buyout
The Extended RF license expands the rights and privileges of the normal royalty free license to buyers while also providing more profit to photographers. This license allows a buyer to resell the image on any product, on any media, such as t-shirts, posters, coffee mugs, calendars, templates, etc, on a non exclusive basis.
This new license allows buyer to use the image as a commercial item on a non exclusive basis. Up until now this these privileges were only found in very expensive and old fashioned Rights Managed licenses. Fotolia is the first agency to offer these privileges as an affordable Royalty Free license.
Many companies and individuals have contacted Fotolia in the last few weeks looking for a license with these benefits. Now we can meet their needs.
Photographers who decide to offer their image with an Extended RF license may easily do so by selecting yes next to the third question about Extended RF during the editing process.
You may set the price of the Extended RF according to the price range of your rank. Commissions remain the same per rank and exclusivity. This license is offered to both exclusive and non exclusive images.
If you who already have images online you may update your contract with Fotolia by choosing the edit link next to your photo on the “My Photos” page.
